Kentucky Standard is committed to accurate, fair, and independent journalism covering every region of the Commonwealth. These standards guide how we report, write, and correct our work.

Accuracy

We verify facts before publication and attribute claims to named sources whenever possible. When we cannot independently confirm a claim, we say so.

Independence

Our news reporting is editorially independent from advertisers, sponsors, and outside interests. Opinion and analysis pieces are clearly labeled and separated from news coverage.

Fairness

We seek comment from people and institutions covered in our reporting and give subjects a fair opportunity to respond before publication.

Corrections
